Year 6 Transition to High School

Transitioning from Primary School to High School can be an anxious for you and your child. We work closely with our feeder High Schools to prepare your child for this important milestone.

Transition days are organised with the High School during Term 3 and 4. Our Year 6 students visit their proposed High School with their peers and meet students from other schools who will be going to the same High School with many friendships forming before school even begins.

Fun activities are available for your child to participate in such are gardening, music, cooking, arts and crafts and many getting to know you activities. We believe that through these activities your child will become familiar with their High School surroundings and their new teachers.
