Artists at Work
The Ocean
The students in rooms 2, 3, 21 & 28 worked with the element of line to describe ocean waves. They used their fingers in blue acrylic paint on a sheet of alfoil. It was heaps of fun, but very messy.

Fish
This year the theme for science week is Deep Blue: innovations for the future of our oceans.
After viewing creatures that live deep in the ocean the students in Room 27 created these great fish. They were drawn in pencil, coloured with oil pastel, which was blended with baby oil and then sprayed with yellow and blue dye.

Butterfly on a Flower
Following on from our work last semester of The Very Hungry Caterpillar, the students in rooms 2 & 3 worked with symmetry and created a butterfly in acrylic paint. Then they painted and printed flowers and leaves. All the pieces were pasted together to create this lovely bright artwork.
