Wednesday 27 May was National Simultaneous Storytime Day where classrooms were encouraged to participate in storytime at the same time across the country.  Room 26 particpated with their buddy class Room 7.

Today at 11:00am, Room 7 participated in the NSS with our buddy class. After listening and discussing the text Whitney & Britney Chicken Divas, both classes worked together to complete a series of fun activities related to the book. 

I had a really proud teacher moment watching Room 7 and the students who worked with our buddies make our guests feel welcome and a part of our classroom. 

We are looking forward to future learning opportunities with our buddy class.
