What a great start to 2019 Room 7 have had!  New students, new teachers, all good fun!

The students in our class are Lily, Lila, Luke, Mangar, Vision, Isabelle, Zander and we all welcomed Hine to our schoolne, a new girl to our school.

The teachers in our room are Ms Read, Mrs Martinovich, Mrs Magookin and Mrs Marks.

This Semester as part of our History programme we are looking at special days and events and what they mean.

We enjoyed learning about Valentine’s Day. We learnt that this is a day when people show their love for one another by giving and receiving cards and gifts.

We also learned that Cupid, the Roman god of love and affection, is said to help people find love on Valentine’s Day. He looks like a winged cherub with a bow and arrow that has a heart on the tip.

We made Fairy Bread hearts to take home to our families as a gift. Our photos will tell you how much fun we had!
