Room 2 have had a fantastic start to the Term. We have been exploring the children’s interest in camping and have completed many activities and tasks to extend upon this idea.

As a class we worked out what things we might need to take camping, created a list and then collected the items we required. We spent an afternoon setting up a tent outside, gathering materials to make a pretend fire and even made s’mores with marshmallows and melted chocolate which we ate around our campfire!

I think it’s safe to say, the children have thoroughly enjoyed this topic and are now expert campers!
