I'm excited to share the latest updates from the Visual Arts room!

Year 4, 5, and 6 students have worked hard to create vibrant mixed-media artworks for the City of Joondalup annual Art Competition. This exciting project challenged students to develop artistic maps of the local Joondalup area, using a creative combination of watercolours, chalk pastels, and oil pastels.

Students explored colour, line, and pattern to bring their interpretations of the local landscape to life. The artworks are rich in texture and imagination, reflecting each student's individuality and connection to the local environment. All submitted entries will also be exhibited at the City of Joondalup libraries, offering students an excellent opportunity to showcase their work to the wider community. With so many outstanding pieces, selecting just six entries will be incredibly difficult.
