Year 5 Leadership Camp
On Tuesday, March 25, the school leaders set off on their two day leadership camp. On the first day, we had the opportunity to meet student leaders from three other schools: Merriwa ESC, Creaney ESC, and Beldon ESC. We gathered at the Swan Valley Adventure Centre, where we participated in team-building games focused on improving our communication and teamwork skills. Afterward, we went to our accommodation, The Keith Maine Centre, to set up our dorms. Following a quick free play session, we hopped on the bus and headed to Grill'd for dinner, which was absolutely delicious!
Day two began with breakfast in the cafeteria before we set off to play mini-golf. It was so much fun! Afterward, we went to Caversham Park, where we either splashed around in the water or played ball games before enjoying a sausage sizzle for lunch.
We then dropped off our new friends at their schools before heading back to ours. It was an unforgettable camp!
