From the Art Room
Welcome to the latest update from our vibrant art room!
Our students have been on an exciting artistic journey, delving into the world of lines and exploring various techniques to express their creativity. The pop stick sculptures and Gelli plates' art experimentation with mono-printing have truly captivated our young artists. Gelli plates, resembling gelatin but reusable and non-edible, have provided a unique canvas for our students to learn different techniques, from using the Braye roller to masking and subtracting paint to create the lines they have been studying. Through mono-printing, they have discovered the magic of creating one-of-a-kind prints, sparking their imagination and artistic flair.
Our Year 1 and 2 students have been busy exploring art processes, from creating rainbow lighting with food colouring and water to crafting art pictures with salt and ink. It's been a joy to witness their creativity blossom and their enthusiasm for art grow.
Stay tuned for more updates on their artistic journey!
