Students have worked hard this year and learned about art concepts such as the Elements of Art and many different art techniques. Famous artists and art movements have also inspired them. To recognise and celebrate their artistic learning, students in Year 6 and Rooms 1, 2, and 3 will take home all their artwork from the school in week nine onwards. We ask that students create a personal “art show” at home, where they can share all their hard work and creativity with their families.

Here are some ideas on how to create the art show:

• Display the artwork in one room
• Enjoy a gallery viewing with family members
• Discuss the artwork “How did you make this?” “What is your favourite piece? Why?” “Tell me about your artwork.”
