Students have been busy demonstrating confidence, curiosity, imagination, and enjoyment when engaged in their visual arts projects. I love these Koalas! Rooms 1 and 2 drew these cute pastel Koala portraits using oil pastel, exploring different techniques to create texture. Rooms 21, 22, 27, 26, and 25 have started exploring Secondary Colours (orange, purple and green) and used their tactile collage techniques to create these glistening Stained-Glass Heart masterpieces. I cannot wait to see them in the windows. Rooms 1,2, and 3 finished off their melted marble pinch pot with clear varnish. They are just sensational.
