The Faction Athletics Carnival was great! Red was triumphant and led throughout the day with the other factions battling it out for their final ladder placement. As always, we saw children try their very best to compete fairly and enjoy the opportunity to challenge their friends and classmates.

I would like to acknowledge the work of the faction captains who were a great help to staff.

The carnival would not have been possible with the efforts of Mrs Michelle Smith, our Physical Education teacher. Behind such a smooth event are hours of work in teaching skills, keeping staff on track and planning for each minute. Everyone contributed through organising children, managing the start and finish of races and games, keeping track of the points, manning the first aid station, and setting up and pulling down tents and this is greatly appreciated.

Thank you to the canteen for keeping everyone fed on what is a super busy day and to all the families that came out and supported students.
