This term in STEM is physics with new topics including, STEM Stories, Balance, Gravity, Static and Natural Disasters.

Pre-Primary and Year 1 in Rooms 14, 23, 28, 29 and 35 are looking at STEM stories. We have started off with ‘The Three Little Pigs’ building our pigs and their houses.

Years 1, 2 and 3 in Rooms 21, 22, 25, 26 and 27 are looking a balance and how objects can balance on top of each other, through crafts and simple structures.

Years 4 and 5 in Rooms 1, 2 and 3 will be completing a unit about static energy and gravity. Focusing on how static electricity is created and exploring how gravity works.

Year 6 classes in Rooms 9 and 16 are looking at Natural Disasters, how these are formed and how buildings and infrastructure are design to cope with these weather events.
