This term we will be looking at the narrative, ‘Kassim and the Greedy Dragon’, as part of our Talk for Writing Program. To start the program off we went on a classroom hunt in the sensory playground to look for clues that a greedy dragon had been at our school. We watched a video of a dragon at our school and needed to find evidence of where it could be hiding. During this hunt, we found the dragons footprints as well as a treasure chest full of gems and money. After this we created our very own dragon using tissue paper and patty pans. They all turned out amazing!

In Room 1 this term we will also be focussing on fitness and movement breaks. After completing our morning activities we like to go to K Block for our fitness time. We practice our balancing, running, jumping and social skills. This has helped make us feel energised for the day ahead!
