Room 3 have had a fantastic start to Term 2. In the first week the students planned and gave a presentation all about what they did during the school holidays.

It was great to see the students work on their writing skills and recalling all of the exciting things they got up to during the holidays. They then used the app ‘Book Creator’ to put together their presentation.

We have also started our new text this term for Talk for Writing, “Kassim and the Greedy Dragon.”

The students have begun the ‘imitation’ stage of Talk for Writing where they come up with a story map and actions to help memorise the story. The students have been learning about adjectives and wrote a list of adjectives to describe Kassim and the greedy dragon.
