In The Garden – Art with Mrs Sweet

Room 7 students are very lucky to go to our Art Specialist Mrs Sweet every Wednesday. We get the opportunity to explore all forms of art media.

Collage, Working with Texture and Colour is just one of our achievments.

Mrs Sweet took us through a process of;

• wax crayon rubbing of leaves we collected
• monoprinting with acrylic
• mixing blue and yellow dye, then spray painting our background and adding salt to create texture
• Using primary colours to make secondary colours to paint our snails
• Creating beautiful flowers inspired by Georgia O’Keefe using oil pastels and baby oil
