What a fabulous start to Term 1, 2023!

The students have settled in smoothly and have accommodated to new classroom routines, making new friendships with their peers, and making sure everyone is welcomed in our class. The constant smiles, laughter and communication between staff and students has been delightful to see.

During the first few weeks our focus has been on building those key relationships between staff and students and learning all about being kind. Students have been engaged in activities, such as making friendship bracelets and have listened to stories about friendships, being kind and how we as a class can be kind to one another.

As well as all the beginning of year assessments, students have been actively involved in the story Mrs Wishy Washy. They have participated in retelling the story using props, learning about characters and setting within a story and most of all enjoying having fun as a class whilst learning.
