Art with Mrs Sweet
Sunflowers
Reece, Finlay, Cruiz and Milo worked with clay to sculpt these lovely sunflowers. Once they had been bisque fired, they painted on the colour using underglaze and clear glaze over the top.

Emu
After viewing the artwork of Wendy Binks, the students in room 3 created an emu in soft pastels. The element of value was a focus.
Native Hibiscus
Students viewed the Native Hibiscus.
It is the Stolen Generation Commemorative flower. The colour purple denoted compassion and spiritual healing. The plant grows widely across Australia. The students worked with the element of form and the medium of clay to sculpt a flower.
