The Endurance

After a 107 years, the ship, Endurance was found 3008 metres below sea level. Ernest Shackleton was exploring the Antarctic when it sank. The Endurance looks very much the same as the day it sank. The students in rooms 27 and 25 drew the ship from direct instruction and then outlined it an felt pen and added colour with pastels.

Chickens

Mrs Bennet has brought chickens to campus. The students have observed and cared for them in sustainability and science. We talked about their texture. The students in rooms 2 and 21 worked with soft pastels to draw three chickens. They used short lines to imply the soft fluffy texture of the chickens.
