The term has started with celebrations. Chinese New Year began on 2 February. It is the year of the tiger. The students viewed the work of Henri Rousseau, 'Tiger in a Tropical Storm'.

The students who attend Visual Arts created tigers. The backgound was printed using leaves, acrylic paint and a gel press. Leaf rubbings were created and imitation leaves and flowers pasted on to create the idea of a jungle. The elements of line, shape, colour, texture and value were revised in the process of creating the artwork.
