Being my first week at Joondalup Educational Support Centre, I have made it my priority in getting to know the students and their families in my class. I believe that if the students feel supported and nurtured, coming to school each day will be an enjoyable and meaningful experience. So this week has been all about getting to know each other, learning the class rules and transitioning to different specialist classes. In our room we have two amazing education assistants, Mrs Linda Moore and Mrs Sue Jorgenson, who are both dedicated and committed in working alongside myself to ensure that Room 35 is an inclusive and safe environment for all students to learn and achieve their individual goals. I look forward to sharing some of the students successes and achievements in our next Newsletter.
