Merry Christmas
Kindy
This term in Kindy we have been learning all about Minibeasts. We have read lots of different books about all kinds of creepy crawlies, with our favourite being ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’. We spoke about the different foods he eats, and even had a picnic with some of his favourite foods.
We discovered our reading corner had transformed over the holidays into a bug house, and investigated all of the creatures which were hiding in there. We talked about our favourite bugs, including butterflies, bees and even wiggly worms! Everyone liked the tiny ladybirds, and we made some fantastic hats with our names on to be ladybirds too.
We have had so much fun learning about all the creatures living in the garden, on the flowers and around the playground.

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM ROOM 23
We have had a fantastic year finishing off with a wonderful adventure week. We are all very excited for the Christmas Holidays and looking forward to coming back to school in 2022.
From George, Elnaz, Jasmine, Mikayla, Tommy, Corwin and Jaxon.
In Room 29 we have loved doing Christmas craft in the last two weeks of Pre-Primary. We made an Australian 12 Days of Christmas themed wreath to hang on our door, put up the Christmas tree and made snowmen and balloon characters as well as lots of different ornaments to hang on our Christmas trees at home. We are excited about Santa, his reindeer and elves and can't wait to celebrate Christmas with our families.
Merry Christmas from Room 2!!!
We cannot believe how quickly this term has gone by!! We have been busy with so many exciting events that time has flown! The colour run was a highlight mid-term, with lots of laughs, and a great opportunity to raise some funds for our incredible school. This week we had our annual Adventure Week where our class spent two days exploring the zoo and Outback Splash. We had so much fun in the water and it was a great spot to be on such warm days.
This week we have been getting into the spirit of Christmas. We have been creating lots of amazing Australian Christmas crafts and are looking forward to doing some baking in week 10.
We are sad to be saying a fond farewell to our gorgeous Mrs Price. She has been a part of the JESC Team for over 22 years. We wish her all the best as she transitions to retirement and will certainly miss her smiling face in our room!
We would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year!!!
