Faction Carnival
Joondalup Schools shared a wonderful faction carnival on Friday. While we were a little apprehensive about the weather it turned out to be a perfect day for a carnival. Students of all ages showed sports-person-ship throughout the day and can be really proud of themselves, and their faction.

Excursion to Parliament House
Some of our Year 6 leaders were invited to Parliament House today together with Primary School leaders for a personal tour and lunch with Emily Hamilton MLA, Member for Joondalup. It is a real privilege to be invited to an event like this and all students were very excited to attend.

Abilities Expo – Performance
Students from Room 26 have been invited to perform at this year’s Abilities Expo which will be held in the Crown Ballrooms. They will be performing with Ben, in front of all the people attending the expo and stall holders. If you are free on the day it would be great to see you there!

Golden Ticket
This Wednesday some very lucky children and their friends will be attending a movie afternoon at school. Children were awarded a Golden Ticket for showing respect, responsibility and safety by our School Captains. Over 200 tickets were given out and these childrens' ticket was drawn out of the raffle box. The movie afternoon will incorporate all of the usual treats that come with a movie – popcorn, ice cream and a fruit box.
Congratulations to Mikayla for being one of the lucky recipients.
Well done to the School Captains for their initiative to make this possible for the children and to Miss Mercer for providing some important oversight and organisation.
