Doughnuts and Fried Eggs

The theme for science week this year was ‘food different by design’.  

In Visual Arts we viewed the work of Wayne Thiebaud. Thiebaud is well known for his artwork of food.  

The students in the specialist class and rooms 16 & 27 drew doughnuts. The fried eggs were created by the students in rooms 2 & 21. They coloured with oil pastels and worked with the element of value to imply 3D. The students cut them out and pasted them onto black card.
