Safety Around Our School

There are a number of key concerns where driver behaviour is impacting on the safety of our students and members of our school community.

 

  1. Please follow the parking rules around the school.  It is not safe to stop in the middle of a road or double park along Jolstra Street.  Please observe the parking rules at all times.
  2. The staff carpark at the front of the school is for STAFF ONLY and SCHOOL BUSES.  It is not a thoroughfare or overflow parking for parents. 
  3. Currently we do not have traffic wardens at each of the key road crossings so children may need to cross the road without an adult.  Remember to drive at 40 km/h during 7.30-9.00am and 2.30 - 4.00pm.  Remember that children are unpredictable and can’t judge the speed of the traffic.
