Learning about the ANZAC's with Room 3
It has been an amazing start to Term 2 Room 3!
We have enjoyed reading lots of ANZAC stories and books in our classroom. Some of our favourites are ANZAC Ted and the ANZAC Day Parade. We enjoyed creating some ANZAC arts and crafts. We made red poppies out of cup-cake cases and paper plates.

We painted a beautiful sky at dawn with water colour. We used the colours purple, yellow and red for the sky.
In Mathematics, we used measurement tools to measure out ingredients for our ANZAC biscuit baking. We learnt how to measure using scales, cups and spoons to measure out our ingredients.

When our ANZAC biscuits were baked, we used our senses to record how our cookies looked, smelt, tasted and felt like.
Our class said they looked giant and golden, smelt like sweet butter, tasted like golden syrup, and felt a mix of soft, crunchy and very very hard!
We loved learning about the importance of ANZAC day in Room 3.
