Room 25 have been enjoying getting to know each other and the adults in their classroom since the start of term. We have learned to communicate about ourselves and what we like and do not like.

Students have made the most of the opportunities to choose their own rewards for their learning and independence, showing us what they enjoy; puppies, dolls, trucks, and balls seem to be the class favourites! 

Stories have featured heavily in the classroom to help us explore, not only literacy but, history and maths too. 

Little Rabbit Foo Foo by Micheal Rosen, as well as making us laugh, helped us learn about numbers, got our fingers exercising with playdough ‘goonies’ and inspired the making of our own wooden toys like children in the past often enjoyed. 

The Three Little Pigs, The Gruffalo and Owl Babies got us all smiling, communicating with our devices, discussing with the PODD, drawings and writing, with Owl Babies causing lots of ‘aaaahhh’s too as we all joined in with ‘I want my mummy!’
