A Busy Start to the Term in Room 16
Room 16 started Term 1 excitedly meeting our new class mates and teachers and learning all about each other. We have had loads fun with one another especially playing games in the playground during our movement breaks.
In mathematics we have been practising our place value, time and addition and subtraction skills. In English we have been doing recounts of our cooking and various stories.
We learnt about Chinese New Year in HASS, making lanterns, Chinese dragons and yummy spring rolls. We also did a recount of the Chinese New Year story.

We have really enjoyed our Sustainability lessons with Mrs Bennett, we have been learning about microorganisms and mini beasts. Room 16 have also created a garden bed, where we have planted lots of seedlings in hopes that we can cook with what we have grown. We even had a naming ceremony for our class garden gnome Tom.

As always we have had great fun rocking out with Ben in Music Rocks.
We were very lucky to have Miss Easson teaching us whilst Mr Hamilton was away, we were all very excited to welcome him back this week.
