Under the Sea with Room 23
What an amazing last term we have been having and it’s not over yet! This term we have been consolidating all our learning from the year, whilst discovering animals that live under the sea. During our literacy sessions, we have been reading lots of different stories about sea animals such as The Rainbow Fish, Chester the Crab, Commotion in the Ocean and many more! We have been having lots of fun completing some water play as we are developing our fine motor skills, letter and number recognition.

We have also been looking at special places in our school for our Geography lessons and have been visiting the vegetable garden and learning about all the fruits and vegetables that are growing and how we can take care of them. We even got to make our own fruit salad, which we all enjoyed!

Finally, we have been summarising all our letter knowledge we have been discovering this year. When we were reviewing the letter V we decided to make volcanoes and watch them erupt! Everyone had a blast! We can’t wait for the last few weeks of school and all the fun things we are going to get to do.
