Joondalup Schools will be hosting a Carols by Candlelight evening on Tuesday 1 December. All families and friends are welcome. There will be virtual displays of the art work students have completed throughout the year and the stage will be set up on the oval for an evening of Christmas themed music. Gates open from 5:00pm and families can bring chairs and picnic blankets and find a spot on the oval in front of the stage. Performances start from 6:00pm. Looking forward to seeing you there!
Lunch at Parliament House
On Thursday I attended a lunch at Parliament house together with Celeste De Villiers (school Board community member) and Beldon Education Support Centre Principal and Board chair. Emily Hamilton, member for Joondalup invited us to attend. It was very formal, and it was a lovely opportunity to see those in sitting at the time and listen for a while.
Parent Morning Tea
We will be hosting a parent morning tea on Friday 4 December at 9:00am in Admin 2 – J Block. Please let Kellie know if you can attend. There is no set agenda for this get together, it would be lovely to share a cup of tea and catch up.
