Students at Joondalup ESC competed to discover the ultimate faction within the Joondalup Schools campus by participating in the Faction Carnival.

Throughout the week, the students from Years 3 to 6 participated in Long Jump, Long Throws and the heats for Tug of War, with the students showing great interest and enthusiasm in each event.

The Friday began with Pre-Primary to Year 2 students beginning the sprints while the Year 3 to Year 6 students started with the team games. After completion of the events the students then switched. It was then the Pre-Primary to Year 2’s turn at team games and the Year 3’s to Year 6’s turn at the sprints. After lunch came the tug of war and relays.

A big thank you to all the parents and carers who came down and supported the students. Thank you to all the staff that helped set up and pack down the event and thank you to all competitors for putting on such a great show.
