Winter Uniform Reminder
As June is approaching, we are entering the season of Makuru our coldest and wettest season, and our weather is certainly changing. It is time to make sure we have all our winter clothes, including uniforms, ready.
Kapture Photo Day
I would like to thank families for being so flexible with the schedule change for school photos, we had been double booked and these were the only dates that were available. The Primary School will be having school photos in the coming weeks, which is when sibling photos will happen.
TAFE Students
These last few weeks we have welcomed students from North Metropolitan Tafe studying their Cert IV to our school. They are completing their final practicum, and hope to gain the experience and expertise to continue their education journey. Hopefully we see them working in our schools soon.
Pyjama Day-1 June 2023For the first day of winter, students can wear their pyjamas to school. We ask that students bring a gold coin donation, which will be donated to our sister school in Cambodia.
Please note, students must still wear closed in shoes, slippers, ugg boots etc.
A reminder that there is a pupil free day on Friday 2 June. Our staff will not be at school on this day and no programs will be running. School will return on Tuesday 6 June after the Monday public holiday.
Kind regards,
Natalie Hatton

The students in Room 23, were very surprised to find Goldilocks had been in our classroom at lunch time and accidentally broke one of our chairs. This was a great ‘hook’ into our Talk 4 Writing story for the term as the students tried to figure out who broke the chair. We have been working hard to learn the story and actions to retell Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
Another highlight of our week is Fun Friday we share with some of our other Kindy and Pre-Primary friends. It is a great way to end our week and we all look forward to completing themed play activities with our friends. We are working hard on developing our communication skills, social skills, turn taking skills and developing our imaginative play.
We are also working hard in class learning new letters and developing our number skills. Some of our favourite activities to learn these new skills are painting and playdough. We do these activities often to help learn our letter and number of the week.
We can’t wait to see what other Fun Friday activities we will get up to this term and hope Goldilocks doesn’t break any more of our chairs!
From the superstars in Room 23- Chloe, Isla, Grace, Kaiden, Quinn, Eva, Alpha, Ms Wilton, Mrs Elliman and Mrs Legge.
Room 2 enjoy seeing their buddy class
In Room 2 we love Tuesday afternoons as this means we get to see our buddies from Room 4.
We get to see our buddies every Tuesday when we do not have assembly and we always have so much fun.
We have completed activities to introduce ourselves to one another, learnt some AUSLAN and played some sport outside.
We can’t wait to see what we do next.
